Lisa (the brains), Blaze (the rebel), Blair (the rich girl), and Calvin (the poor boy) try to find their purpose in America's now destroyed society while hiding from the strict government and police. In her struggle to survive and staying hopeful, Lisa runs into (literally) a shy boy, she sees the opportunity to survive together. Although hunger is very common, Calvin has a bigger struggle since he was already poor before. Lisa also encounters an old friend (or not so much) with her younger brother. Lisa is excited at the idea of sticking together and encourages everyone to do so. After convincing Calvin to stick together they go to a shady area. There they meet another boy, Blaze, who's troubled past and ego prevent him from not acting "cool" even as the world around them is falling apart. Blair, faces problems as she tries to care of her younger brother Will, as the One Child Policy has been established in America.
The oppressive government just seems to grow ripping people from their families and hurting everything in their path to have a "better and more controlled future." As they argue and realize their vulnerability, Lisa, the brains, comes up with the final plan that will lead them to their redemption. Learning to combine all of their ideas, Blair suggests to find help at the Children's Home of York. Follow them as they work with each other on their road to survival. We each tied in our Stage I & II projects - harsh government in Cuba, hunger in Africa, mental health and the one child policy in China.
